This was also taken during Graeme Stirlings headshot shoot. It’s much more aggresive then the other photos we took. I was worried it might make him look difficult to work with (he’s not, he’s lovely). But I think it actually shows him quite thoughtful … and he still looks like a 70′s action hero. Continue reading

Graeme was my first portrait and lately he’s felt neglected on the blog http://bit.ly/bpweWv So today is Graeme Day.
This photo is the shot he’s currently using professionally on spotlight. I love it because I think he looks like a 60’s action hero in it.
Graeme is nearly half a foot taller than me so to get the angle and the light I precariously balanced myself on a bench. The light on his face is the light reflected from the canal where we took the photos.
I was quite nervous about having one of my photos used professionally. So I made sure Graeme sought advice from his agent and friends before he used it. Fortunately the feedback was positive.
