Mark James, works with Matt Hughes at Devil PR. As he sits opposite me, I’m always taking photos of him, but mainly to start a roll of film or to finish it. He’s so pissed off with me over it they mainly end up with him swearing at me. However he kindly posed for this one, with a copy of the music magazine ‘The Stool Pigeon’.
I developed this photo in HC-110 dilution E at 30C for 8 minutes, I’d shot Kodak Tri-X 400 and pushed it to 3200 just to try it out. The effect is really grainy and because I didn’t use a wetting agent the film got a bit scratched at the beginning and the end. But it suits Mark, he’s a bit scratched at both ends too.
