Self portraits are incredibly self indulgent. But I thought I’d try a few out to test this old manual flash for my Minolta, it’s the most non user friendly thing I’ve ever seen but I love it.

I take my photos between two and four at the moment so towards the end we’re generally going into sunset.

We took this photo just as the light starts getting golden. It’s a shame the eyes are slightly out of focus, but I love the golden light of the sun.
